1. Service Description

FileBolt provides a web-based large file transfer service, built on HTTP/3 (QUIC) architecture, designed for rapid and secure file distribution.

• Scope of Service: Includes file uploading, temporary storage, download link generation, and paid subscription benefits.
• Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice.

2. Subscription & Accounts

To protect privacy, FileBolt uses an "Accountless" design:

• Email Verification: We only verify your subscription identity via email address. We send a one-time login link (Magic Link) to your email; no traditional passwords are set.
• Subscription Responsibility: You must ensure the provided email address is accurate and secure. Any activity conducted through that email is deemed your personal action.
• Fees & Refunds: Except as required by law, consumed service periods are generally non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and benefits will remain until the end of the current billing cycle.

3. User Conduct

You must comply with all applicable laws when using the service. You may not use the service to:

• Upload or share any content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.).
• Transmit illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, or hate speech content.
• Distribute viruses, malware, or any code intended to damage or interfere with computer systems.
• Attempt unauthorized access to site servers, interfere with network transmission, or conduct any stress testing.

Note: FileBolt acts only as a technical service provider and assumes no obligation to review user-transmitted content, but we will respond to valid infringement notices (e.g., DMCA).

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

• Your Content: You retain full ownership of all file content transferred via the service. FileBolt does not claim any rights to your content.
• License Grant: Solely for the purpose of transmission, you grant us a global license to temporarily store, encrypt, and distribute related content. This license terminates immediately once the file expires or is deleted by you.
• FileBolt Property: The ownership of the website, source code, UI design, branding, and related technology belongs to FileBolt.

5. Data Privacy & Security

We highly value your privacy; see our Privacy Policy for details. Regarding legal compliance:

• No Logs: We enforce a strict "No-Logs Policy," not recording your IP address or download history.
• Auto-Deletion: All files have a limited storage period. Upon expiration, files are permanently destroyed from servers and are unrecoverable.
• GDPR Compliance: For EU users, we process personal data (email addresses) in accordance with GDPR requirements. Contact us if you have access or deletion requests.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• As Is: The service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• Risk Assumption: We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. You understand that large file transfer is subject to network conditions (e.g., 10Gbps link saturation).
• Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the service fees you paid in the past six months.

7. Children's Privacy Protection

• Age Limit: This service is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in some EU countries).
• Handling Measures: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If received inadvertently, we will delete it immediately.

8. Terms Updates

Revised versions will be published on this page. Your continued use of the service after terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Unless mandatory laws provide otherwise, these terms are governed by local laws. Any disputes arising from this service should first be attempted to be resolved through friendly negotiation.
